Training: Royal Academy of Dance
Gemma has danced since the age of 2 taking classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Modern, Contemporary and Commercial. Achieving Advanced 1 Ballet with the RAD and Advanced 1 Tap and Modern with ISTD. Gemma now holds teaching qualifications with the ISTD and RAD and she has taught at many schools across Dorset and Hampshire.
During her training under the guidance of Julie Adams, Gemma has performed in many shows across the South including performances with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the late Paul Daniels and the Mayor’s charity ball.
Gemma has also performed in many Pantomimes including Snow White, Dancer Tivoli Theatre 2014/15, Jack and the Beanstalk, Dancer Tivoli Theatre, 2015/16, Pirates of the Pavilion, Dancer Weymouth Pavilion 2016, Jack and the Beanstalk, Dancer Weymouth Pavilion 2016/17, Pirates of the Pavilion Dancer 2017, Sleeping Beauty Weymouth Pavilion Resident Dance supervisor 2017/18, Pirates of the Pavilion Dancer 2018, Alice in Wonderland Dancer 2018.
Gemma’s theatre credits also include Aida, Dancer 2013, La Boheme 2014, Nabucco 2014, Carmen 2015, Aida 2017, Madame Butterfly 2017 all at the Bournemouth Pavilion.
Gemma is also an experienced Choreographer, Choreographing many shows including Fame Jr 2016, Pirates of the Pavilion at the Weymouth Pavilion 2017 & 18 for Made To Measure Productions, Sleeping Beauty at the Weymouth Pavilion as Resident Dance supervisor 2017/18, Robinson Crusoe 2018 at the The Barrington Theatre for Pheonix and most recently Alice in Wonderland 2018 at the Banfield Theatre in Exeter for Hot Rock Productions.
