All Teaching staff hold current DBS disclosures, and we always have a qualified first aider on site.
Lucy is a proffessional dancer from Bournemouth. Upon finishing her education in 2015 her credits include; Poole Lighthouse Peter Pan (2015), Warner Lesiure Hotels (2016-2018), KL Shows International Malta (2018) and is soon to start a contract on Costa Cruises in 2019.
Lucy has had a passion for dance since a very young age. She began classes at four or five for fun, taking classes and exams in Ballet, Tap and Modern. Whilst doing A Levels at Leaf Stage and Screen, she took open classes at Pavillion Dance in Bournemouth and also travelled to London to take classes at Pineapple Dance Studios.
At 17, Lucy successfully auditioned for performance colleges, being awarded places at Laine Theatre Arts, London Studio Centre and Millenium College. Although unable to raise the money for the fees, this gave her the drive and determination to begin relentlessly going to open auditions in London. With the help of Charlotte from Mainstage she put together a showreel. A good showreel and a lot of hard work has been the key to achieving her contracts to date.
Lucy is thrilled to have the oppurtunity to teach for Mainstage. Lucy has also taught ballet classes and musical theatre/drama in Bournemouth, and recently ballroom/latin to adults whilst working at Warner Leisure. It will be rewarding to pass on and inspire others with what she loves to do.
