Emily Bennett
Commercial Dance Teacher
Emily is a professional dancer and performer from Southampton. Her professional credits include
Robbie Williams’ new film Better Man, dancer for the NFL LONDON GAMES FINAL at Tottenham
Hotspur, and performing at the prestigious Alvin Ailey Theatre in New York City.
Emily graduated with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre and Professional Dance from Performers College where Emily trained for 4 years. In her final year at Performers she directed and choreographed one of her 3rd year devised shows and was Dance Captain to Ryan Lee-Seager
for her grad show Kipps: The New Half A Sixpence Musical.
Most recently, Emily has returned to England after 5 months of training in New York City, on Broadway Dance Center’s highly prestigious Professional Semester Course where she trained with the likes of Mishay Petronelli, Brian Friedman, Marc Kinmelman, Lizz Picini, Kenichi Kasumatu, Mishay Petronelli (Beyonces assistant choreographer), Shannon Lewis etc and was recognised by numerous agents, choreographers and agencies out in the US.
Emily is now living in London working and auditioning as a professional dancer and performer and loves teaching at MainStage on a Saturday. She loves to share her knowledge and passion for dance and performing with the younger generation and has loved working with the MainStage
students this year.
