Dance Connection...
Dance Connection is an after school dance club supplied in educational schools by Mainstage teachers.
Each week a group of school friends get together to explore the wonderful world of dance and music and work together as a team to produce some great performances.
Dance connection classes are an introduction into the world of dance and music. These classes are high energy, fun, motivating and exciting! Classes consist of a fun aerobic warm up, basic technical corner work and finally we work on various routines as a class and in small groups. Students are always encouraged to choreograph their own routines and work creatively with each other.

These classes are great for the children to socialise and get to know each other, and also those children that may be in a different class/year at school. They are always given the chance to perform to each other in the class which helps build on their confidence and self esteem.
During these classes we like to use a wide variety of music from all different ages, musicals and artists to broaden the students musical knowledge and introduce them to various styles and genres. We always prepare a short end of term performance for parents to come and watch what the students have been learning in class usually this is themed around the time of year i.e.: Halloween, Christmas, etc and the students can choose their costumes, props and even have an input into the music we use.
