Maisie Hamilton
Commercial Dance Teacher
Maisie started dancing at the age of 2. She began learning the ISTD Syllabus for Ballet, Tap,
Modern and Jazz and successfully completed all grades up to Advanced 2. Alongside Exams,
Maisie frequently competed in competitions, including the prestigious All England Dance.
During her training at home, Maisie was also a member of Hampshire Youth Dance Company and was successful in being awarded the Hampshire Dance Bursary.
Maisie continued her professional training in Musical Theatre and Dance at Wilkes Academy based in Swindon. In 2017, Maisie was selected to perform on the Move It MainStage for ‘Tears of Warfare’ choreographed by Leanne Pinder.
In 2018, Maisie was successful in securing her first professional contract straight after graduating. This was a Cruise Ship contract with Tallink Cruise Lines on board M/S Baltic Queen. Maisie has since done a number of contracts with the same cruise line as Dance Captain and Dancer. In between contracts, Maisie teaches regularly at various dance schools in and around the South Coast.
As well as performing, she has a strong passion for teaching and photography! Her favourite styles to teach being commercial, contemporary and musical theatre.
