I.S.T.D. Modern

The examination structure of the ISTD is designed to cater equally of those who wish to progress to making dance their profession, either as a performer or dance teacher, and for those pursuing dance purely as a leisure activity.

The nice thing about entering exams, is the sense of achievement as you work your way through type grades, along with the feedback the examiners provide in their write reports. 

These examinations hold you in good stead further down the line, and you need to have them under your belt in order to enter your teacher’s later on, they are great to show vocational colleges if you wish to do that later in life, future employees etc. The vocational grades are accredited by OFQUAL.

I really believe in the quality and knowledge that comes from studying the ISTD syllabus, and can’t recommend it highly enough!
