Charlotte began dancing at the early age of 3 in her hometown of Portsmouth. From a very young age, Charlotte was involved in numerous productions, festivals and competitions all over the U.K. At the age of 12, Charlotte gained a scholarship to attend Stonelands School of Ballet and Theatre Arts in Hove, where she studied all academic subjects alongside Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Singing and Drama. Alex started teaching for MainStage in April 2014 and has been completely inspired by the talent and skills of the students. The improvements of the students continues to grow and grow week after week making her proud to be apart of this fantastic school, where the principal Charlotte Moon continues to bring in so many great opportunities of shows, festivals and competitions.....There is always something to be excited about!
Erica has had a passion for dance since a young age and trained from the age of 4 at a local village dance school in Hampshire. In her teens, Erica then moved dance schools to the Amber Andrews School Of Dance in Fareham, where she continued to study ISTD Tap, Ballet Modern and Jazz under teacher Sheila Andrews, examiner Mauren Harvey and teaching assistant, Amber Andrews, until the age of 18 yrs. Erica competed in the ISTD Marjorie Davis Star Tap Awards for many years where her passion for Tap Dance developed.
Gemma has danced since the age of 2 taking classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Modern, Contemporary and Commercial. Achieving Advanced 1 Ballet with the RAD and Advanced 1 Tap and Modern with ISTD. Gemma now holds teaching qualifications with the ISTD and RAD and she has taught at many schools across Dorset and Hampshire.
During her training under the guidance of Julie Adams, Gemma has performed in many shows across the South including performances with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the late Paul Daniels and the Mayor’s charity ball.
Catherine has had a passion for acting and the arts from a very young age, performing is what she has always loved most.
After graduating from Central School of Speech and Drama,London, Catherine taught in a London school for 3 years before returning to her home town of Bournemouth.
Catherine currently teaches in a local dorset academic school where she has worked for the past 10 years.
Jess started performing at the age of 6. She most took an interest in singing. She is classically trained with a foundation in Bel Canto technique. She was in the Bournemouth Symphony Youth Chorus in which she was able to perform all around the country and debut music specifically written for the choir.
Emma started dancing at the age of 3 in her hometown of Portsmouth and studied Tap, Ballet and Modern. She decided to stop dancing at the age of 13 to concentrate on her education. Emma gained a BA Honours degree in English studies from Chichester University in 2005.
She most recently worked as an Assistant Acountant for a large lighting company in Portsmouth gaining her AAT Intermediate qualification, before leaving in December 2017 to focus on her 2 children.
Emma enjoys being involved with Mainstage & seeing the children go from strength to strength each term.
Jonathan began his career after graduating Laine Theatre Arts with a diploma is dance. Theatre credits include; Starlight Express, Bochum (Purse), Legally blonde, West End (Swing), An Evening of Dirty Dancing, UK Tour (Rob, Dance Captain), High School Rocks! UK Tour (Ensemble, Dance Captain)
