At Mainstage Performing Arts, we teach the ISTD Tap syllabus as well as focusing on performance pieces during show term.
During these classes the students will work on their Tap technique, rhythm, musicality, performance and charisma.
Mainstage offer both syllabus and non-syllabus ballet classes for all ages. Wether your working towards an exam or a number for our production show or just for the love of this timeless classical art.
Jazz classes are both fun and lively, teaching various styles such as street, lyrical, musical theatre and jazz technique.
Acrobatic dance is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Often defined by the unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.
Focusing on skill, development, creative exploration and group work.
The Drama classes at MainStage allow young students to explore a variety of different drama skills and genres.
At MainStage we sing in specified age groups as a choir of singers with different voice ranges. Nearly anyone able to speak can sing (the more naturally gifted won’t need as much guidance).
To be confident in all 3, is known in the performing arts profession as a triple threat!
MainStage musical theatre classes concentrate on all three disciplines, pushing characterisation, musicality and expression, as well as encouraging confidence and charisma.
At Mainstage we run 2 adult classes per week. We have an adult Jazz and an adult tap class.
These classes can be paid for termly or on a 'Pay As You Go' basis.
Adult classes are there to have fun and build confidence. These classes also work towards, and are performed in the Mainstage Production shows.
